Eight Individually Addressable Solid-State Light Sources

Selective excitation for DAPI, CFP, FITC, YFP, TRITC, mCherry, Cy5, and Cy7 is instantaneously accessible with a microsecond switching speed. Each of the eight light sources produces 500 mW of stable output at the distal end of a 3 mm liquid light guide.
